Invitation
We take pleasure in inviting you to participate and present a paper in the 10th International Symposium on Weatherability ISW to be held in the city of Ota, Gunma, Japan on July 2 and 3, 2015 organized by the Materials Life Society, Japan (MLS). MLS is the only organization in Japan for study especially on weatherability, durability and life time prediction of many kinds of industrial products or materials nearly more than 30 years since its establishment in 1988.
The ISW provides a good opportunity to meet each other for the experts from industry and resaerch of all over the world.
Main Topics in 2015 are:
– Weathering of Plastics and Coatings or relevant materials
– Stabilization of Polymers and Mechanisms
– Correlation Field and Laboratory Tests
– Analysis of Polymer Degradation
– Determination or Simulation of Relevant Climatic Factors

Contributions to the Symposium can either be presented as 20 min oral presentations or as posters.

International Symposium on Weatherability ISW is being organized on behalf of the Materials life society, MLS, Japan.
Participation Fee
Participation fee is \30,000 (about 250US$). This fee does not include welcome party fee. This is another \5,000 (about 45US$).
Registration fee must be paid in cash on arrival at venue.
Conference Venue
The symposium will be held at Ota Campus of Gunma University Graduate School of Science and Technology, Gunma, Japan. It takes 10 minutes to walk from Tobu Railway Ota station.
Ota is a city in eastern Gunma Prefecture, Japan. Ota is located 80 km northwest of Tokyo between the Tone and Watarase rivers. Ota’s leading industry is manufacturing, centered in the southeast part of the city. Ota leads the prefecture in manufacturing revenue, which exceeds ¥1.3 trillion annually. It is the home of the car manufacturer Subaru, a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. However, the northern part of Ota is characterized by its farms, most of which produce rice.
Ota Station is one of Tobu Railway’s hub stations. The Isesaki Line, Kiryu Line, and Koizumi Line all meet here. It takes 70 min (by Ryomo limited express) from Tokyo. Intercity/Express buses for Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Toyama and Sendai are available.

Full-length papers (at least 2 pages (A4 format) but no more than 6 pages) of the presented contributions will be prepared for the proceedings of the symposium. The guidelines for the manuscript submission are described in the following. The authors are responsible for the content and style of the contribution.

The contributed paper must be in English and should report previously unpublished work. It should contain an abstract paragraph (up to five lines) reporting the major objective and results.
2. Guidelines (Times 11, bold)
Papers may include figures and tables. A caption should be written under each figure and above each table.
Equations must be centered and numbered on the right.
Top and bottom margins should be set to 3 cm, left and right margins to 2 cm. Single-line spacing should be used. Fonts must be:
Title: Times New Roman 14, Bold, centered
Authors names: Times New Roman 12, normal, centered. The name of the author presenting the contribution must be underlined.
Affiliations: Times New Roman 10, Italic, centered

The full papers should be submitted as a printed copy and also as a PDF file, within May 11, 2015.
